Every "Best Of" ballot is a marketing campaign.
Most businesses just don't run one.
Blue Ribbon Strategies builds the customer-rally campaign that turns a nomination into a win — real votes from real customers, timed, tracked, and rule-compliant.
Built on a playbook that's already delivered multiple "Best Of" wins
Rules, followed strictly
Every campaign starts with reading that specific contest's actual rules — voting frequency, eligibility, incentive limits — and we build inside them without exception. No business practices that put your listing at risk.
Confidential by default
Who we work with stays between us. We don't publicize client names or campaign details without explicit permission — your competitors don't need to know you're running a strategy.
Somebody else is busy chasing your title. Probably right now.
You didn't earn a "Best Of" nomination by watching a leaderboard — you earned it by running a business people already love. That's still the best use of your time. Keeping an eye on who's angling to take the title from you is ours.
- When a competitor's push launches — a rival campaign rarely stays quiet for long, and timing matters.
- How many votes are actually landing — daily, not just at the end, so a stalling push gets caught early.
- How close the deadline math gets — the final stretch is where most campaigns are won or lost.
- Whether your ask is actually landing — so effort goes where it moves the needle, not where it feels productive.
One business per category. Period.
We take on a single client per category, per contest market — never two competitors chasing the same title at once. Once we're working with a business in your category, we're not available to whoever comes after, including you. If someone in your category books us first, that door closes.
A campaign built around your ballot, not a template
We run the outreach and track the votes cast. You hire us, we execute our proven strategy, real customers do the voting — because they were actually asked.
Referral network
Beyond your existing customers, we can extend the ask to people in your area who aren't customers yet — through a real referral incentive that gets them in the door first, so the vote comes from someone who's actually tried you.
Category & timing strategy
We map how competitive your category is and build the outreach timeline backward from the actual voting deadline, not the nomination date.
Compliance check
We read the contest's actual rules first — voting frequency, eligibility, incentive limits — and build the campaign inside them.
Daily vote digest
A short daily email totaling the votes cast by the customers we've engaged, sent every day of the voting window so you always know the push is working.
Built around your deadline, in order
Contest categories open and close on someone else's calendar, and every one runs on a different timeline. We tailor the strategy to however long your specific "Best Of" campaign actually runs, working backward from the deadline.
Confirm & scope
We pull the contest's actual rules — voting cadence, eligibility, deadline — and confirm your category and nomination.
Build the network
We line up the referral outreach and timeline against the real voting window, inside the boundaries the contest actually allows.
Rally voters
The campaign runs — outreach goes out, the referral network engages, and we track votes cast by those customers daily.
Win & leverage it
A win becomes a talking point you can use however you like. A near-miss becomes next year's opening move.
Turn your reach into votes, not just your customer list
Your current customers are the foundation of any campaign — but they're not always enough to win a competitive category. We can also run a referral network: real people local to your area who become customers through a genuine incentive, then vote because they've actually used the business.
This isn't a list of names being asked to vote for a business they've never heard of. Every voter in this network has a real reason to be one — a referral that got them in the door, a first purchase, an actual customer relationship, however small.
We also keep this scoped to wherever the contest actually accepts votes from. Most "Best Of" ballots restrict eligible voters by region, so a wider net only helps if it's still inside that boundary.
- We define the incentive. A real reason for someone new to try the business — a discount, a free add-on, a first-visit offer. Something with genuine value, not a payment for a vote.
- We recruit locally, inside the eligible area. Through your existing channels and ours, reaching people who don't know you yet but are a realistic fit for the business.
- They become an actual customer first. The visit or purchase happens before the ask to vote — the vote follows the experience, not the other way around.
- Then we make the same ask we'd make any customer. The same outreach and timing used for your existing base, extended to this new group.
Two ways to run the campaign
Every tier is built around one contest category. Multi-category or franchise pricing available on request.
Starter Campaign
- Minimum average of 50 votes per day
- Daily vote digest through the voting window
- Rules compliance review & adherence
- Voting-week timing plan
Managed Campaign
- Everything in Starter Campaign
- Referral network recruitment run by us
- Category & competitiveness assessment
- Guaranteed average of 50% more votes than Starter Campaign, driven by custom strategic campaign analysis
- Optional: share your customer email list and we'll build a weekly marketing campaign around it
Campaigns go live within 48 hours of payment, once we've confirmed your category and deadline.
First place, or your money back
On the Managed Campaign tier: if your business doesn't finish first in its category by the contest's official deadline, we refund the full campaign fee. No fine print beyond that — full terms are confirmed when you book.
FAQ
Is this against contest rules?
No. We follow each contest's guidelines and don't leverage tactics that get campaigns disqualified. That applies to the referral network too: everyone in it becomes a real customer before they're asked to vote, and we only recruit inside the area a given contest actually accepts votes from. What we do is legitimate get-out-the-vote marketing: making sure real customers know the ballot exists and get reminded before it closes. Every campaign starts with reading that specific contest's rules, and we hold to them strictly for the entire campaign.
Will anyone know you're working with us?
Not from us. We keep client relationships confidential by default — we don't publish your name as a client, reference your campaign publicly, or disclose details to anyone without your say-so. If you'd like to be featured as a case study, that's always your call, never ours.
Could you end up working with my competitor instead?
Not once you've signed on. We only take one client per category per contest market — whoever books first gets the spot. If a competitor in your category reaches out to us after you, we turn them away. That also means if you wait and they book first, we won't be available to you either.
What if my business hasn't been nominated yet?
Most "Best Of" contests take public nominations before voting opens. We can help you run the nomination push too — it's the same principle a step earlier.
What if we don't win?
On the Managed Campaign tier, you get a full refund if you don't finish first — see the guarantee above. Starter Campaign purchases aren't refundable, since that tier doesn't carry the placement guarantee. Either way, a well-run campaign still grows your email list, review count, and social following, and gives you a head start on next year's nomination.
Do you only work with one type of business, or one town?
Neither. The playbook isn't specific to one industry or one town — it's built around how these contests are structured, which is similar almost everywhere.
Voting season doesn't wait. Neither should the campaign.
Tell us your category and deadline — we'll tailor the strategy to however long your campaign actually runs. No calls — email or message, and we'll take it from there.
We only work with one business per category. If your competitor reaches out first, we won't be available to you.

Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This policy explains what personal information Blue Ribbon Strategies ("we," "us") collects through this website and our services, and how we use, share, and protect it. By using this site or purchasing our services, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide directly: your name, email address, business/category details, and any message content when you contact us by email, or through checkout fields at time of payment.
Payment information: we do not collect or store card numbers or full payment details ourselves. Payment is processed entirely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Stripe collects and stores your payment details under its own privacy policy; we receive only confirmation of payment and the checkout details you provide (name, email, contest/category information).
Client-provided customer data: if you engage our referral network or weekly marketing campaign add-on and share a customer or email list with us, we process that data solely to run your campaign, as described in Section 5 of our Terms & Conditions. This data belongs to you and your customers, not to us.
Technical information: like most websites, standard web server logs may record IP addresses and browser information for basic security and troubleshooting purposes. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of that request, under Google's own privacy policy.
Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site (pages viewed, general location at the city/region level, device type, and similar aggregate usage patterns). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects your IP address as part of this process. We use this information in aggregate form and do not use it to individually identify visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by adjusting your browser's cookie and tracking settings. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
Advertising & retargeting: we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on this site. It allows us to show ads to people who have previously visited this site when they use Facebook or Instagram, and to measure how well our ads perform. The Meta Pixel collects information about your visit (pages viewed, actions taken) and, if you're logged into Facebook, may associate that activity with your Facebook account. This data is processed by Meta under its own privacy policy. You can control how Meta uses this information through your Facebook Ad Preferences settings, or opt out of interest-based advertising generally through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to: respond to inquiries, process payments, deliver the campaign services you've purchased, send campaign-related communications (such as the daily vote digest, where applicable), and maintain basic business records.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with the service providers necessary to operate our business — for example, Stripe for payment processing, Google Analytics for website usage analytics, Meta (Facebook) for advertising and retargeting, and our email/hosting providers for basic site and communication functions. Under some state privacy laws (including California's CPRA), sharing information with advertising partners like Meta for targeted advertising purposes may be considered a "sale" or "share" of personal information, even though no money changes hands. See Section 6 for your rights regarding this. We do not share client campaign data or client-provided customer lists with any other client or third party, consistent with Section 5 of our Terms & Conditions.
5. Data retention & deletion
Client-provided customer lists are permanently deleted within 30 days of a campaign's conclusion, as described in our Terms & Conditions. General business correspondence (such as email inquiries) is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for business, legal, or tax purposes.
6. Your rights, including opting out of targeted advertising
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing customerservice@blueribbon-strategies.com. If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information under the CCPA/CPRA, which includes our use of the Meta Pixel for retargeting advertising as described in Section 2. To opt out, email us at the address above, adjust your Facebook Ad Preferences, or use the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out tool at optout.aboutads.info. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under other applicable state privacy laws. We will respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable time.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we handle, including relying on Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure for payment data and limiting access to client data to what's necessary to perform the campaign. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
This site and our services are directed at business owners and are not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your use of the site or purchase of services governs that use or purchase.

Terms & Conditions
1. Agreement
By purchasing a campaign from Blue Ribbon Strategies ("we," "us"), you ("Client") agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't purchase or use the services.
2. Services
We provide "Best Of" contest campaign strategy, referral network recruitment, compliance review, and vote-tracking services as described on this site and in your specific plan. Service scope is limited to what's listed in your purchased tier at time of purchase.
3. No guaranteed outcome, except where stated
Except for the Managed Campaign money-back guarantee described in Section 4, we make no guarantee of any specific result, including but not limited to vote totals, category placement, or contest win. Outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including but not limited to your business's customer base, the competitiveness of your category, and decisions made by contest organizers.
4. Money-back guarantee (Managed Campaign tier only)
If Client's business does not finish first in its contest category by the contest's official deadline, we will refund the Managed Campaign fee in full. This guarantee applies only to the Managed Campaign tier, only to the specific category and contest confirmed at the start of the campaign, and only where Client has provided accurate eligibility information and cooperated with the campaign as scoped. The guarantee does not apply if the contest is canceled, if results are disputed or overturned by the organizer for reasons unrelated to our campaign, or if Client's business is disqualified due to Client's own actions outside our campaign. Starter Campaign purchases are non-refundable.
5. Customer data & permanent deletion
If Client provides a customer list, email list, or other contact data for outreach purposes ("Client Data"), we will use Client Data solely to perform the purchased campaign for that Client. We do not sell, rent, share, or reuse Client Data for any other client or purpose. Upon conclusion of the campaign — whether by win, loss, cancellation, or refund — Client Data is permanently deleted from our systems and any third-party tools used to run the campaign within 30 days. We do not retain copies beyond that window. Client is responsible for ensuring it has the right to share any customer data with us, including compliance with applicable privacy laws and its own privacy policy commitments to its customers.
6. Contest rules & eligibility
Client is solely responsible for confirming its business's nomination status and eligibility to participate in any given contest. We build campaigns around each contest's publicly available rules but do not guarantee those rules will be interpreted or enforced by the organizer in any particular way. We are not liable for disqualification, removal, or any adverse action taken by a contest organizer, publication, or platform.
7. Referral network
Where Client engages our referral network service, all referred voters must become genuine customers of Client's business prior to being asked to vote, consistent with the practices described on this site. Client is responsible for ensuring any referral incentive it offers complies with applicable law and any industry-specific regulations governing its business (e.g., regulated professions).
8. Category exclusivity
We work with one Client per contest category per contest market at a time. Exclusivity applies from the date of purchase and lasts for the duration of the applicable contest cycle. It does not extend to other categories, other contest markets, or future contest cycles unless separately agreed.
9. Payment
Fees are due in full at time of purchase via our payment processor. Campaigns begin within 48 hours of payment and confirmation of Client's category and deadline. Except as provided in Section 4, all fees are non-refundable.
10. Confidentiality
We keep Client's identity and campaign details confidential and will not disclose them publicly without Client's written permission. Client agrees to keep our campaign strategies, tactics, and methods confidential and not disclose them to third parties, including competitors.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to Client for any claim arising out of these terms or the services is limited to the amount Client paid us for the applicable campaign. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunity.
12. Indemnification
Client agrees to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from Client's breach of these terms, Client's violation of applicable law, or Client's provision of inaccurate eligibility or customer data information.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
14. Contact
